Today we went to Eldon House to enjoy our first Victorian Christmas Tea with tiny sandwiches and sweets and fancy cups and saucers.  We also toured the house and admired the festive decorating.  I could totally see us living here.  I’m down with deer antlers on the walls and bells in the pantry.  Afterwards we hit the Covent Garden Market to pick up oranges and whole cloves to make our own pomanders.  The house smells glorious.  We’ll definitely be adding all of this to our annual “Celebrating December” traditions.
