I’m now an official card-carrying member of the Thames Valley Trails Association.  Probably one of my best decisions ever.   This is is the Association’s 40th year, so to celebrate they are doing a dozen 10km plus hikes two Sunday mornings a month.  Once completed, there’s a badge!  The first 10.4 km has been completed.

      It was an awesome first hike! There’s nothing quite like spending four hours with 27 retired seniors surrounded by nature. 🙂

        I could certainly think of worst things to do, that’s for sure.

        Hey, I always wondered if you two knew each other… being both from the same place 🙂

        ::Hi Debbie::
        ::Hi Nadine::

        Nadine, hows about teaching these folks how to knit-walk ? 🙂

        We only live a five-minute drive apart! 🙂 We partake in a lot of tea parties. 🙂

        As for knit-walking, this group goes at a pretty good pace. I really had to watch my step through the muddy fields, but maybe with some practice, I could take along an easy, light project. I did find out that many of the ladies knit though. One was sporting the prettiest cream cabled wool hat – I tried taking a picture of it, but there was no slowing down, and I had the wrong lens on my camera for close-ups. 😦

        Wow… that is so neat you two get to hang out ! 🙂 You know, I was kind of kidding about the knit-walking, because it could be a potential hazard… we wouldn’t want anybody crashing with their needles !!! 🙂
