I don’t know what else I can say that I haven’t already said about this girl.  She is the kid that every parent wishes they had.  That must sound cheese-y and something every parent should say about their child, but in this case, it’s fact.  I am in awe of her.   It is a gift to be her mother.  She lives each day being careful and sensitive to everyone around her – she is happiest when everyone else is happy.  Her empathy is so deep that it frightens me.  The one guarantee in life is that we will all experience loss and sorrow – but she is bound to feel it exponentially.  Because of this, she is wise beyond her years and exercises a great deal of caution.  And she finds joy in the smallest of things and practices gratitude daily.  If she was a super villain, her evil power would be kindness.  She needs very little to be content. Her favourite day would include a pancake breakfast with bacon and pulp-free orange juice, hanging out in her bed all day making art while listening to music, and movie night with her three favourite people – us.  So that’s exactly what she got. And a cake. Happy birthday, Bumblebee.

She’s absolutely better than me (although we do sound quite similar). 😉 Happy Birthday, Beah. You amaze us all. Much love, xx
