Sometimes one must balance all that physical fitness with butter, sugar and chocolate.  It’s the right thing to do.  I call these Kata’s Chocolate Chip Cookies, and they are the ONLY chocolate chip cookies we bake around here.

1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup margarine
2 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups flour
2 cups jumbo semi sweet chocolate chips

Cream together sugar and margarine until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla and blend well. Add flour, baking soda and salt, stir until everything is blended together, then add in the chocolate chips. Drop by spoonful onto a lightly greased cookie sheet, and bake in a preheated oven at 375F for 8-10 minutes, until the edges become golden brown.
