table

I have been out and about almost every weeknight recently.  I’m looking forward to the next time I am home to stay after dinner.   Next time I should report on my knitting.   Surprisingly projects are being finished, and my success rate is at an all-time high.  It helps that I have frogged all projects that had it coming to them including my very first vest I knit probably four years ago.   It was seamed and ready to wear all this time, but it was ridiculously short AND wide.    It felt good (for lack of a better word) to reclaim that wool.

In other news, there is some cool stuff happening in these parts.   Along with my fellow members of the Forest City Knitters, I will be sharing my skills at the Gathering Threads event hosted by the Canadian Embroiderers Guild this weekend at Perth Hall.  My shift is on Saturday afternoon if you want to pop in to say hi to Kat, Lynn and me.   And at the end of this month is the 2nd annual Grickle Grass Festival at the Children’s Museum.   I missed it last year due to ignorance, but I will not make that mistake twice.  I watched videos of it and heard lots of amazing feedback.   I badly want to be a cool kid and go.  I just need people to come with me.  That’s me begging.
